ERCO 2018 Specifier Guide Launch

On the night of the 8th of March, ERCO Lighting launched its 2018 Specifier Guide with an updated range of products and projects. The Specifier Guide is a comprehensive and easy to use tool for lighting specifiers; a compact version of the ERCO Program with content focusing on the lighting applications within local Australian Projects. It demonstrates the Language of Light philosophy across various schemes, outlines the EVC components and presents the 2018 Innovations.

The event took place on the 22nd level of 259 George Street, Sydney CBD. The guests enjoyed a selection of gourmet canapes and wine whilst experiencing firsthand, a glare –free, comfortable work space.

Three spaces were recently fitted with ERCO within level 22, 259 George Street. They serve as display suites for the demonstration of ample, comfortable lighting solution within a work environment showcasing the application of Richard Kelly’s Language of Light concept – Ambient, Accent and Scenic. Suite one of the space is equipped with ERCO Compar linear recessed luminaries, creating an accent over the work stations, and with ERCO Optons 10W wallwashers for an ambient light solution. The table and the lounge area in the kitchen where employees enjoy their lunch break is accentuated with Pollux spotlights in warm white. The welcome area of Suite two features Compar wallwashers behind the reception desk, and Pollux wallwashers bathing the decorative wall in light. Gimbals accentuate the counter tops in the break out area of this suite. The third suite is equipped with recessed wallwashers for ambient light. Likewise, all boardrooms feature vertical illumination using Compar linear luminaries, and have a row of decorative pendants over the boardroom tables, amplifying the scenic element.

A crowd of architects, engineers, lighting designers and interior designers had a unique opportunity to experience real –life applications, that are presented and described in the 2018 Specifier Guide, and appreciate multiple examples of the ERCO luminaries range within these Fitout areas.

Amber Palmer from Girvan Waugh, the interior designer for this space:

“Our design and delivery ethos was to bring sophistication to the workspace. Creating a location that will stand the test of time as this commercial market sector is constantly evolving with themes, styles, and influence. We are excited with the outcome of this project to showcase detailing in the design elements from the vast variety of materials and textures chosen. Above all, the lighting was delivered to our high standards placing the right shade and light to tie-in all corners of the office and  breakout areas”.
