Canadian Lighting Company Designs Face Shields

The firm has pivoted to begin making PPE for frontline workers in Canada, the U.S. and abroad.

A Canadian custom LED backlighting company is now offering personal protective equipment (PPE) to help frontline workers and members of the public during the coronavirus crisis.

The Community Shield (left) and the Health Care Shield are being manufactured by Omnify Lighting in Toronto to meet the PPE needs of frontline workers and the public.

Omnify Lighting, based in Toronto with additional manufacturing facilities in Los Angeles, now offers new “OnGuard” face shields that the team has designed and built over the past several weeks after Ontario Premier Doug Ford called for manufacturers to help bridge the PPE supply gap.
