INDE.Awards celebrates Best of the Decade in 2020

Entries are now open for INDE.Awards, the Indo-Pacific’s first and only regional design awards program.

Awarding the most progressive architecture and design in the Indo-Pacific region, the INDE.Awards launches its 2020 program with Best Of The Decade. Entries are now open for the INDE.Awards which calls on architects and designers to share their legacy with an era-defining accolade to celebrate an exceptional decade in design.

In 2020, the INDE.Awards makes its much-anticipated return with its 14 core, industry-leading categories. These honour the past 12 months of progressive architecture and design across typologies including buildings, spaces, objects, and also people. Taking ‘INDEs gold’ to a whole new level in 2020, INDE.Awards presents two new era-defining accolades to honour the lasting impact of a single, influential piece of architecture or design in the Indo-Pacific.

Open to entrants across the region, Best of the Decade | The Living Space and Best of the Decade | The Work Space ‘pops up’ in 2020 to recognise the exceptional execution of and lasting impact made by a single, influential piece of architecture or design. INDE.Awards celebrates Best of the Decade in 2020 is Jury-decided and will also be open to a People’s Choice Award.

Now in its fourth year, the INDE.Awards celebrates the diversity and dynamism of the Indo-Pacific, bringing together creatives from all fields and corners of the region to shine a spotlight on the most progressive buildings, spaces, objects and people. In 2019, INDE.Awards welcomed over 430 entries from more than 14 countries across the region. Of those entries, 15 Winners and 12 Honourable Mentions were arrived at by an internationally renowned panel of judges.

As the first and only regional design awards of its kind, the INDE.Awards has brought recognition and growth to the firms which have entered and won. “Last year we saw an incredibly high calibre of entrants, shortlisters and winners which revealed the progressive nature and influential power of our region’s designs,” says Indesign Media Asia Pacific CEO, Raj Nandan. “In 2020 Indesign Media celebrates 20 years of championing great design and bringing it to a global audience. So in 2020 we’re wrapped to bring our region a special, celebratory edition of INDEs with the Best of the Decade.”
